2010 Merry Christmas!!

2010 Christmas has been the busiest Christmas that Fuzuki has experienced. It has been alot of fun, but a tremendous amount of work for her as well. There were times that she wasn't sure if she was coming or going and neither were we. There were many concert rehearsals and many swim practices and many swim meets that she participated in as well. Some nights she went to concert with only 30 minutes between the swim meet ending and a concert beginning, with very little time to blow dry her hair. However, she was always there and ready to perform her best! She is doing remarkable in her English skills. She has maintained an excellent grade point average in school as well. We are so very proud of her and her accomplishments.
Our family has been so blessed to have Fuzuki as a part of our family this year.

She did put on her boots to come outside.

It is very cool outside, but not enough that she wanted to put on a coat.. would cover up her new Christmas Sweater outfit  and Jeans that she got from Matt and Priscilla.

December Fun

Assembly Hall on Temple Square

Fuzuki helped decorate two Christmas Trees this year. We have one in our Living room and  one in our Family room. Both are large artificial trees.  The Upstairs tree has ornaments on it that represent Christ, Family, Winter and a few ornaments about our Community. The Downstairs tree is full of fun ornaments of Santa Claus and elfs and all the other sweet and fun things of Christmas. We have had a delightful Christmas season.

We particiated in the Messiah Sing along this year. The Hills of Home Singers Christmas Concert is where Fuzuki accompanied the singers with her flute in Silent Night. She did a great job! There were High School Orchestra concerts and Lincoln Youth Symphony Christmas Concerts. We also attended the High School Choral Concert and We were very privelged to attended the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert, where David Archuletta, performed with the Choir. It was an outstanding concert!!
I have taken photos at most events, so hopefully we will get a small representation of all these events.

The Young Women in the ward attended Temple Square to see the Christmas lights. They had a great time.

October Events

In October, Fuzuki and Eve and I attended Womens night out during General conference's Priesthood Session. We were all given a little plaque. Fuzuki came home with hers and placed it on the wall in her room and has her name, which she did in Design class underneath it on the dresser. Really cute!
Along with the Fall comes High School Football games.
Fuzuki and Eve attended several games including Homecoming, where
Fuzuki watched the game and Eve went with her Class and lighted the "B" on the
Mountain so that all could see it. It was really neat!!

Also in October was a family project, where we roofed an old rental house that is owned by Grandma and Grandpa. Eve and Fuzuki earned $100 for their help in handing shingles up to Grandpa and Dad to hammer on. There were a great help!  It went quite fast too.  This is the beginning and then the progress in between and end.

The girls were so very strong, they helped move all these boards from the truck and then helped to lift them to the roof for the workers.
